Privacy policy
Short version: Alef Play collects nothing. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and does not use the internet. What a parent types stays on the device. עברית
What the app stores, and where
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| The child's first name (typed by a parent) and the chosen picture | To show the child's profile and to bring the letters of the name to the first games. | Stays in the app's private storage on the device. Never sent anywhere. |
| Progress (which vehicles the child has built) | To show stars and the built vehicle. | Stays on the device. |
What the app does not do
- It has no internet permission: it cannot send data off the device.
- It does not use the microphone, camera, location, contacts, photos or any account.
- It shows no ads and uses no analytics, tracking or third-party code that collects data.
- Android backup is switched off for the app, so the name is not copied to a cloud backup.
Children
The app is made for children aged 2 to 3 and is played with a parent nearby. Profiles are created and changed by a parent behind a simple parental gate (a number written in Hebrew words that must be typed in digits). A parent can edit or delete a profile in the settings; deleting a profile also deletes its progress. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes everything.
